TFG Asset Management will release its first property management research paper by the end of 2016.
The ‘Handover Strategies’ white paper addresses the common issues owners face during the property handover phase and provides sound advice on how to tackle these challenges.
The research includes the latest data, views from leading industry professionals, and covers each stage required for a project to be completed. It also focuses on the project handover and Defect Liability Period (DLP) phase.
Data collected by the TFG Asset Management research team reveals there are five critical issues that frequently occur during the handover phase. The paper therefore stresses that without adequate expertise and meticulous management, the project will be poorly delivered, to the detriment of its investors.
The research also highlights the important role the residential and commercial asset manager play and the value they provide to investors.
Residential and commercial asset managers possess the expertise, skills and know-how to protect owner and investor interests and rights. They manage relationships and detect and follow up any issues to ensure the owners’ units are delivered in the best condition.
“We are excited to release TFG Asset Management’s first property management white paper, which addresses effective handover strategies,” said Deirdre McCarthy-Betzold, Head of Business Development at TFG Asset Management.
“We understand the frustrations our investors experience with unit quality during the handover phase, so we initiated this research to provide valuable insights into how high-quality project delivery can be best executed.”
