First Central Hotel Suites is the second hotel within TFG Asset Management’s portfolio to be awarded the Green Key certification in recognition of the sustainable practices that they have implemented.
Green Key is a leading eco-label supported by the World Tourism Organisation (WTO) and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), which recognises hotels and other accommodation providers that are committed to sustainable practices as part of their daily operations.
First Central Hotel Suites has developed the following three Green Goals as part of their programme:
• Educating all stakeholders (employees, guests and suppliers) on the importance of Going Green
• Reducing energy consumption by implementing best practices in the hotel’s operations
• Contributing to the community by performing Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives
First Central Hotel Suites has achieved the Green Key certification by incorporating sustainable practices and green initiatives into their operations. “We have involved our associates and our guests in many initiatives in order to raise awareness about energy efficiency and environmental sustainability” reveals Wael El Behi, the property’s General Manager.
