The First Group’s TECOM-based aparthotel ranks first among its competitors in terms of RevPAR and occupancy rates
February proved an exceptional month for aparthotel Dubai Auris Metro Central, with the TECOM aparthotel ranking first among its competitors in terms of Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).
Auris Metro Central also topped the TECOM aparthotel ranking in terms of occupancy rates, reporting a figure of 97%. By way of comparison, the average occupancy rate across Dubai in January was slightly above 85%, according to data supplied by STR Global.
“The stellar performance of Auris Metro Central during the first months of 2015 is testament to the work of our professional front-line and back-office teams, as well as our overall strategy designed to tap profitable market segments,” said TFG Head of Asset Management Mariano Faz. “Specifically, this strategy has focused on correct yield management and securing the right customer mix to ensure our competitive edge.”
According to the Competitive Quality Index (CQI), – a performance metric that compares a hotel’s online reputation to its nearest competitors – Auris Metro Central ranks 8% above the average, highlighting and positioning the hotel property as the premier accommodation choice in Dubai’s TECOM area.
“TFG Asset Management continues to support Auris Metro Central’s operations team and we expect strong growth in terms of top-line revenue in the coming months. We particularly look forward to another robust performance in March,” added Faz.
