TFG Asset Management has become an official member of the world’s most renowned association of hotel property investors and owners, HOFTEL (Hotel Owners’ and Franchisees Transatlantic and European League).
This exclusive hotel owners association, which aims to improve the profile and professionalism of the global hotel ownership community, announced TFG Asset Management’s membership in April.
TFG Asset Management will join other leading global hotel developers and owners such as Blackstone, Host, Hotels & Resorts (123 hotels owned and/or managed) Interstate Hotels and Resorts (423 hotels owned and/or managed), Fraser Hospitality Trust (12 hotels owned and/or managed), Abu Dhabi National Hotels (13 owned and/or managed), as well as several Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) that are also HOFTEL members.
HOFTEL brings together hotel owners, real estate investors and hospitality franchisees around the globe giving them a voice and a profile as one distinct industry sector.
In 2014 its members had hotels and serviced apartments in around 35 countries and between them, controlled hospitality real estate assets of about US$80 billion.
“Becoming a new qualified member of HOFTEL is testament to the high regard in which TFG Asset Management is held in the global hotel investment arena,” said Head of Asset Management, Mariano Faz.
“This membership will enhance the company’s presence and profile, provide valuable networking opportunities with like-minded peers, and crucially, enable TFG Asset Management to learn from industry pioneers on a global scale.”
The association fosters the discussion of common industry issues and encourages members to share examples of best practice, allowing them to benchmark against one another.
